Peyton Quinn of Rocky Mountain Combat Applications Training said:

The truth is I have had so many problems, and frankly even 'exploitation' by my former providers this level of service is totally unprecedented in my experience and so to recommend you guys is to me a service to my people I feel. I try to treat my clients the same way, but frankly you have now raised the bar for me!

Jonathan of whoishostingthis.com's Blog penned an article entitled ‘Failover’ Hosting and why it’s Redundant. In it, he stated this about DrakNet's Failover package when compared to Hosting Zoom and Site5's comparable offerings:

Of the above sample plans, only one, Draknet’s, actually offers a high level of redundancy. While the other two may mitigate well against hardware failure on a single system, a problem with the datacenter or a networking issue within it can still take the site down. By having a backup of the site in a geographically diverse location (what they refer to as “Poor Man’s Redundant Solution”) only a failure in the datacenter and in the failover application could result in significant downtime. The other two, while potentially great plans, more closely mirror grid and cloud hosting options offered by many hosts.

Seen on Daily Kos as part of a totally unrelated story:

If you followed the "whois" link, you'll see the info was provided by DrakNet Web Hosting, THE BEST hosting service on the intertubz! Small, female-owned, solar powered, and wildly liberal in the heart of Texas, they have good pricing and extraordinary tech support & customer service. So, if you want to get away from mega hosting sites that don't give a *** about you, check out DrakNet.

If you are looking for service from a hosting company, it doesn't get any better than DrakNet. I tried a few before moving to DrakNet, and I'm here to stay. I have a reseller account servicing a small number of clients, and I really appreciate knowing I can offer good service because I get great support from my host. Many hosts offer security and performance, but service and support matter more to me, and not too many excel in that area.

Communication: software updates, new features, anything that might effect your site, transparently communicated on the status page and via Twitter. Security: you won't find a safer place for your web site.

Jen has been working with me for days to make sure that both NoFactZone.net and Colbert University transfer over to the new servers with no glitches, and she did a lot of work on the back end, as they say in the bidness, to make sure that NFZ and CU are extra secure. Jen’s been a Godsend (or Bobsend depending on your religion), and has really eased my mind about moving to a new server and a new hosting service.

I’ve used DrakNet as a host since I put up my tarot reading site in the late 90s and without fail, the Ladies at ‘Drak’ have been there for me. If I’ve lost a password, have a question about software or am so confused I don’t know what question to ask, Jen at DrakNet gets back to me in a timely and patient way. When I needed to put up a second site, I never even considered looking anywhere else for a hosting service. Going Green is frosting on a cake that was already sweet.

...if you want a really good web host, with outstanding customer service run by a woman who knows her stuff, check out Draknet. A lot of people can tell you tales of how their site went down when they got Dugg. I’m not one of them. I have one of the few hosts that is able to survive The Digg Effect.

I truly wish more of the people and companies I deal with understood what it takes to provide good service at a reasonable cost like you so obviously do. (Did I mention I tell everyone I know about how great Drak.net is to work with? :-) ) Kudos to you for making the rate/limit changes in the first place, and *major* kudos to you for telling existing customers about them! I'm telling my friends and associates about what you're doing, and steering what business I can your way. Thank you.

I've hosted with drak.net since 2002. They were my second hosting company, and I've not moved since. Right off the bat they proved excellent, not only answering my questions about hosting within an hour of my email, but giving me the information I needed to get my site away from the other company. I had emailed four other potential hosts at the same time. They were one of two who answered me, and the only one who actually helped instead of just pointing me to a dead link.

While the packages are a great deal, the biggest reason I stay with DrakNet is the customer service. Tickets are answered not only quickly, but with a personal touch. The company is always improving its services to meet the customers' needs. So few businesses these days follow the old model of customer service first. DrakNet is one of those few.

Drak goes beyond most other web hosts to make certain that we feel less like a numbered accounts and more like valued patrons.

Written by Stephanie Lynch of http://tarotbyarwen.com/:

I not only host all of my domains with Draknet (I have three), but I have also recommended their hosting services to everyone I've done any web design for. Draknet has been, without fail, responsive to each and every request for support. I can depend on Draknet's technical gurus to fill in my own blanks. The only way I would switch hosts would be if Draknet went out of business.

Ya'll are the BEST host around .. in my opinion. I've had a lot of the years and none have ever come close to the uptime, personal service, etc...
