DrakNet's Failover Package is what we like to affectionately call the "Poor Man's Redundant Solution" created for those that want to ensure that even though your budget is somewhat on the smallish side, you can still get the peace of mind that comes from knowing you have an automated solution when things go wrong.

This account includes two Bells and Whistles accounts, one at one of our servers at our Liquid Web Data Center and the Backup Account at our Wired Tree Data Center. For one price, you are given access to both of them to upload your sites, install email accounts, and so on. They function independently and you can mirror their set ups as little or as much as you wish, and by setting both up yourself you save some of the costs involved in having the solution managed.

Instead of using the ns.drak.net nameservers, you will be emailed the ns0.draknetfailover.com nameservers to set up your domain - if you hold the domain with us, we'll make this change for you.

Since the DrakNet Failover solution is 100% integrated with our failover DNS system you don't have to worry about installing any special software or scripts on any of your systems. Other than setting up and configuring both sites, we take care of all of the work for you.

When the crisis has passed, we will move the DNS back to the original system.
